Just another blue blue sky day. Living in mexico in a beach town is different than my dreams of living in an oregon beach town, as I am reminded by Amy, our welcome guest from PDX. We were sitting downstairs in the shady newly painted living room discussing our friend Morgan who lives in Pacific City, OR. We talked of our visits to the beach towns of Netarts and Lincoln City. Reminiscing about being on the land side of the dunes and feeling the heat and then crossing over to the ocean side, how the wind would rip down the beach to freeze you no matter what preparations your tried to make. I think we need some more nautical or shell related knick knacks around the house. True, Treva’s jellyfish themed paintings do bring some beachiness to our house but I think we need some more.
